Beez editorial policy
Current Beez launch disclosure and the target process for commissioning, sourcing, human review, publication, and maintenance.
Our purpose
Beez publishes practical financial education for people of all ages. Our public articles, guides, lessons, and calculators are designed to explain concepts and help readers ask better questions. They are not personal financial, investment, tax, legal, or Sharia advice.
Editorial independence
Accuracy, usefulness, and reader safety determine what we publish. Commercial relationships, product access, or promotional considerations must not change a conclusion or remove a material limitation. Any relationship that could reasonably affect a reader's interpretation must be disclosed clearly on the relevant page.
How topics are selected
We prioritise questions that are useful to UAE and GCC readers, can be supported by primary sources, and add a clear original contribution such as a decision framework, checklist, worked example, comparison, or transparent methodology. We do not create near-duplicate pages solely to target small keyword variations.
Source standards
We prefer current primary sources: laws and official government guidance, regulators and rulebooks, central banks, exchanges, recognised standards bodies, and original statistical publications. A secondary source may help explain context, but it does not replace the controlling primary source for a legal, regulatory, numerical, or time-sensitive claim.
Every citation identifies the publisher, source, URL, access date, and the claim it supports. Publication-day checks confirm that links work and that effective dates, jurisdictions, thresholds, and official processes have not changed.
Accountable people
Every reviewable page names a real author and one or more real reviewers through published profile pages. An author cannot approve their own work. Review decisions are attached to the exact content revision, and any later edit invalidates the earlier approval chain.
The required review stages depend on the subject:
- factual review for every public document;
- financial review for financial education;
- qualified Sharia review for Islamic-finance interpretation;
- locale review for translations;
- final publisher approval for the exact revision.
Legal or regulatory claims are also checked by an appropriately qualified person before publication. A profile states credentials only when they have been verified.
Artificial intelligence
AI may assist with research organisation, outlining, drafting, translation, or media production. It cannot approve or publish content. A human remains accountable for source verification, original contribution, wording, limitations, and the final decision to publish. AI-generated media is labelled and requires recorded rights information.
Inclusive, plain-language writing
We write for readers across ages and experience levels. Explanations define specialist terms, distinguish education from recommendations, use hypothetical examples, and avoid implying that one product, institution, security, or strategy is suitable for everyone.
Islamic-finance content
Islamic-finance pages distinguish general education from an individual ruling. They identify the relevant jurisdiction and standards, avoid presenting contested interpretations as universal, and require qualified Sharia review before publication.
Calculators and examples
Public calculators keep inputs in the reader's browser. Inputs and results are not placed in URLs, analytics, logs, metadata, or share links. Each calculator explains its formula, assumptions, limitations, and a clearly labelled hypothetical example. Results are educational estimates, not eligibility or outcome promises.
Updates and withdrawals
Every document has an as-of date where the subject is time-sensitive and a scheduled review date. We also review material when a law, rule, official process, standard, source, or calculation changes. Materially unsafe or unsupported content may be withdrawn while it is corrected.
Corrections
We correct confirmed errors transparently under our corrections policy. Published routes are not silently repurposed. When a page is retired, readers and search engines receive an intentional reviewed redirect where an appropriate replacement exists.
