Beez corrections policy
Current Beez launch disclosure and how readers can report concerns while correction and withdrawal controls are established.
Reporting a concern
Readers can report a possible factual error, outdated source, broken link, unclear calculation, missing limitation, translation problem, accessibility issue, or undisclosed conflict through the Beez support or contact channel. A useful report includes the page URL, the passage or result in question, the reason for concern, and a primary source when available. Do not include account credentials or personal financial values.
How reports are assessed
The editorial team records the affected document and revision, checks the cited and controlling primary sources, and routes the issue to the appropriate reviewer. Financial, legal or regulatory, Sharia, translation, and calculator issues are reviewed by people authorised for those subjects.
The author does not approve a correction to their own work. Material changes require a new revision and a new approval chain.
Correction levels
Minor changes include spelling, formatting, accessibility labels, and broken links that do not alter meaning. They may be corrected without changing the page's conclusion, but the change remains attributable in the editorial history.
Material corrections change a fact, calculation, interpretation, jurisdiction, effective date, limitation, or conclusion. They receive renewed factual and specialist review, a new reviewed date, and final publisher approval before release.
Urgent safety issues include content that could materially mislead a reader while a correction is being investigated. Beez may temporarily remove such a page from the public export and search discovery. Restoration requires the normal approval workflow.
What changes on the page
A corrected page shows an updated date. When the change is material, the page should explain what changed and why in plain language. We do not manufacture freshness by changing dates when the substantive content has not been reviewed.
Retired pages
Published URLs are not reassigned to unrelated content. If a reviewed replacement answers the same user need, the old URL receives a permanent redirect. If no appropriate replacement exists, the response should clearly indicate that the content is no longer available.
Evidence and privacy
The CMS retains reference-only audit records for revisions, decisions, publication, withdrawal, and redirects. Release evidence contains IDs, counts, timestamps, checksums, tested URLs, and response headers; it does not contain tokens, drafts, user data, or personal financial values.
